Being in the military for 22 years allowed Lee to travel to many parts of the world. On these trips he would try to find something to bring back to us as a souvenir - rugs from Morocco, lamps from Turkey, shells from Oman, and suits from Colombia to name a few. Some of these items made it through our many moves, some did not. Finding beautiful and unique items from around the world is a great way to connect with the people and cultures of each country. It is also a great way to be reminded of where you've been. Wearing a tie from another part of the world is a great way to connect to this beautiful world.
